I was a resident of tel valley for 10 years. I fell on hard times and could not pay the rent. i am currently working with a case manager to pay off back debts and to secure housing. a potential manager of a new rental unit contacted tel valley and the manager there told her not to rent to me that i was a messy and dirty person and that i had men coming and going at all hours of the night. I am not a whore. the manager of the new place told all my personal contacts what was said
This place SUCKS. When my husband and I first moved in we thought It would be a satisfying and safe place to live seeing as it s directly beside the state patrol office. WRONG. This place Is dirty, They have wild and rabid animals with mange running around that they REFUSE to get rid of, we were told that it was OUR responsibility to get rid of them. ... The rent goes up every year and is probably the highest in Columbia. Trees need to be removed. Many residence in this park are squeezed to pay this rent as this is supposed to be affordable.

This is a very nice, clean, and well kept up park. It was also very reasonable rent at 290.00mo with a dog. And shopping centers were pretty close. We miss living in Brownstown township. We had lived there from June 2001 thru June 2007. We had a 2001 two bedroom single wide and had to move due to a growing family.
Tela-Valley is a friendly, well-maintained community. Management keeps residents to standards, lawns mowed, yards clean, skirting etc in good repair. Lots of kids, two playgrounds, and Woodhaven Schools. A pool (or storm shelter) would be nice, but its a sacrifice Ill make to feel safer and know my kids are in good schools.
This is a terrific mobile home community. It is located in the country and is surrounded by beautiful scenery and wildlife. A great place to raise a family.
