I was at a conference at the Convention Center and wanted a great meal within walking distance as we only had an hour for lunch. Cotton State was an easy walk across Bienville Square. When we got there, we were seated quickly. I ordered the wings and coleslaw. The wings had a delicious smoky flavor and the coleslaw was amazing (and I’m picky when it comes to coleslaw). This place not only has the best barbecue in town, it has hands down the best barbecue we have EVER had!! I highly recommend anyone to try, you most definitely won’t be disappointed! We will for sure be back..... probably like tomorrow😁🙌
Let me just tell you guys!!! I never do reviews but this place deserves one!! I have previously eaten here and it was AMAZING, so our office decided we would want it for lunch. Well it was raining so we wanted to order, even though the company doesn’t use a service all the time, the owner David offered to deliver for us! Where to begin with Cotton State. One of downtown Mobile's best lunch spots. Everything from the sandwiches to the loaded potatoes to the banana pudding is delicious and made fresh daily. Check out their BBQ nachos. You wont regret it!
