We go often after church Wednesday night or Sunday morning with several friends.
Went for the fried green tomatoes and also had a meal. I just thought it was okay. The fish was okay but one piece/filet could have used another thirty seconds to a minute. That burst of fish flavored kinda messed up the mind/taste etc. Service was good during a busy time. I could see many employees working/cooking/putting together / picking up/delivering/answering phone orders etc.
Well to start with not a clean table in the whole place, about 1/3 of the tables were taken. Floor looked like it hadn’t been swept in 2 days, the food was just ok. I ordered on of the $6 Texas Bloody Mary’s, it was just tomato juice and vodka, no celery stick or bacon like it stated on the menu. We used to eat there a lot when we lived close, we drove 25 miles to eat there and WON’T do it again!!!!!!!!
great food, yet the staff seems to be a bit confused- whos waiting on who. Suggestion: Assign an area where the service matches the tables, better service and more attention to detail. We felt like our server had too many tables and others were not helping out until we asked. Will return yet ,,,,,we hope the manger on duty is on the floor helping out and paying attention to all tables.
Had a really sweet waitress yesterday. Salads are always yummy! Especially when when it involves fried chicken!!!
This was by far the most deliteful dining experience I’ve had in ages. The waiter was so welcoming and attentive. The food was excellent, I ordered the chicken and dumplings, they were to die for! My daughter ordered the fish basket and it was perfection. We were passing thru on our way to Okla. and sadly there is not a Cotton Patch Cafe near our area.
