home style with flavor good everytime, Love the Irish Stew! Veggie plate is good! Always packed with customers everytime I've been there. THe sweet tea is good. Breakfast looks good and so does the owner. Highly reccomend! LS
Cotton Boll - gross! Since the change in ownership, Cotton Boll has gone down in my opinion. On one order we had chicken and dumplings and found bones in it. On another order we had the chicken gumbo and there were huge clumps of fat floating around and there was a good inch of grease floating at the top. The service is just as bad as the food now. Great Chicken and Dumplings Another small restaurant that serves southern food. They do have the best chicken and dumplings anywhere in Shreveport. Friendly service, and you won't leave hungry!
RecommendedGood home cooked comfort food. The chicken and dumplings were outstanding as was the hot water cornbread.
They have the most awesome chicken and dumplings — best you will find in Shreveport/Bossier. Their hot water cornbread is the best also. Closest to my mom’s down home cooking!!
