Always great and timely, friendly service... will definitely be back.
I bought a deal for discounted oil changes and tire rotations (among a few other services) specific to this location and they refuse to honor the deal (that they are still selling). I was told this was passed down from the owner when I called to schedule. I was excited about finding a good local Automotive Shop and looking forward to trying Cottman after reading the positive reviews. Unfortunately this was a poor way to conduct business. I will not be wasting my time or money with Cottman of Mundelein anymore.
I went in after work one Friday evening because I was having trouble with my vehicle. I spoke with a guy named Mike and I was very impressed because he sounded very knowledgeable about motors and transmissions. Well I made an appointment with Mike to have my vehicle picked up from my office the following Friday morning. Mike told me he would pick my truck up no later than 9 am. The air conditioner on my Jeep Cherokee hadn’t worked in over a year. If our summer hadn't had the unusually 100 degree days, I would have let it go. The problem had been looked at by the dealership service center and another mechanic with little success or absorbent quotes for repair. After taking the Jeep to Lenny over at Cottman’s, we finally have air conditioning again! Lenny’s crew was great.
