horrible – I would strongly STRONGLY discourage any person from buying a car from Cottage Lake Motors These men do not know the first thing about service, and I honestly wonder how they are still in business. They are dishonest and do not live up to their word, they provide bad work and do not guarantee it. Stay away from these guys.
Not good customer service – Cottage lake motors may have good prices, but once you have sighed on the dotted line, these men will not go above and beyond for you. We have had a few follow-up issues, nothing major, but these men did not cooperate or follow-up with us. I would gladly pay more money for a car with better service. I do not recommend this dealership - they are horrible
Great guys and great cars!!!! – I don't know who the other reviews were talking about but my time at Cottage Lake Motors was very well spent! James and Peter were great to deal with and have done everything that they said they'd do and more. I purchased a 2005.5 Audi A4 Quattro for thousands of dollars less than another local car dealer was offering with more miles. Found a car there with low miles at a very reasonable price. One of those 'too good to be true' deals; it was. Their ad clearly says, "We do not offer Salvage or Rebuilt Title Cars at Cottage Lake Motors." They sure offer cars with lemon/buyback titles though. No thanks! I'd stay away from them if possible. I, too, got the somewhat rude behavior through email instead of in person like the other reviewers since I live out of town.
Would not recommend – In the ad for the car i was interested it said "immaculate" condition inside and out. I get to cottage lake motors and right off the bat on the front end there is a dent from looks to be like it was ran into a trailer hitch. The rims were scratched up on one side of the car as if ran into a curb several times. Pine needs all over the car. A real displeasure, but thanks anyways.... – I love the scenic location, varied Audi selection and.... well that is just about where it ends. Salesmen are extremely frustrating to deal with and one even lost his temper with me over the phone. Since when have professionals in any business been capable of staying in business without any professionalism whatsoever? What an emberassing way to treat a customer... wow. Would not recommend if it was the last place on Earth to do business. Thanks anyways...
