RecommendedI've stayed in the motel room 3 & 4. Love both of the updates they have done to these rooms. I will recommend the cottage house to anyone.

RecommendedIt’s such a beautiful place
After my parents stayed in the house they said good things about their room and recommended us to stay there the next time we went to Counsil Grove. My spouse and I stayed in the motel #9 room for one night. We paid around $74 which is fine except when we walked into our room it was TINY and "jail cell like". It had not been updated like they told us. Outlets didn't work it was just SO bad. There was nothing on the walls, it just felt very uninviting and depressing. We would have gladly moved you to a new room or in the main house if you would have let us know you weren’t satisfied with your room. Our outside motel units are just that basic hotel rooms and we have been updating them. The inside rooms have the nicer rooms. We also have a website www.cottagehousecgks.com where you can view all of our rooms before making reservations.

RecommendedWe had a wonderful weekend in Council Grove and The Cottage House was the perfect place to stay. We had a lot of laughs (and a few tears). Very clean and the ambience was right up our alley. I would certainly recommend The Cottage House to anyone wanting a charming, cozy place to spend the night.
RecommendedThe Cottage House is very comfortable and clean, it may have age, but it is one of the most enjoyable places we have stayed. The staff on duty was very knowledgable about the local history and gave us insight on facts that we were not aware of during our visit. I would highly recommend Cottage House as the place to stay when visiting Council Grove!

We had a wonderful time at the Cottage House this weekend. The rooms at the house are all unique and different, but so warm and very comfortable. We loved the porches and gathering areas. The staff was great and very helpful. A stay at the Cottage House and a visit to Council Grove is a must when in Kansas.

We stayed at the Cottage House this past weekend on our return from South Padre Island. Our room 401 was immaculate, quaint and left us with a feeling of a home atmosphere. The whirlpool tub was outstanding. Holly checked us in. She was very warm and accommodating. She made the experience more rewarding.
