I am quite frankly disgusted by the apparent lack of communication amongst the departments at Cottage Hospital. My mother died in your care on June 10th, and today I received a 2nd communication from your patient satisfaction department inquiring about my mother's recovery. Clearly your hospital's record-keeping is shoddy, to say the least; if that weren't the case, then we would not be continuing to receive these emotionally distressing phone calls. Almost a year ago, my two-month old daughter Vivienne was diagnosed and treated for infant botulism at Cottage Children's Hospital. From the moment I met Dr. Lehman, Dr. Mehr, the PICU nurses, and later the Pediatric doctors and nurses, I felt at ease knowing that they were confident and knowledgable about how to take care of her and guided my husband and I through the most stressful time of our lives. LOVED WORKING IN SANTA BARBARA AT COTTAGE HOSPITAL. LARGE CHILDREN'S CRITICAL CARE UNIT, NICU HAS PROGRESSED, SO HAVE THE CRITICAL CARE UNITS. ALSO IT IS SUCH A BEAUTIFUL CITY TOO!
