Epic is too short a word
We've been going to this establishment every year for the past three years. We've recommended this restaurant to friends traveling to SF from Canada numerous times. This June, on our regular trip we tried to make a reservation for three families. Youngest is 13 y.o.,seasoned travelers and adventurous eaters. When we called, they would not take our reservation for either one large table, or two smaller tables unless we gave an 1800$ deposit ??? Never have we seen this, and we've been here many times. The quail was of my favorite meals Ive ever had. The food actually changed my mood. Literally. I believe it made me a happier person in general, So good! Also I so appreciated my server taking the time to help me with a list of places to go. So glad i went here!!!
