Friday night in Baltimore without a reservation is usually an exercise in optimism. After striking out everywhere else, we wandered into Costiera and, despite being fully booked, they kindly found us a table on the patio. As it turned out, we won the lottery—great people-watching, a lively city atmosphere, and a perfect spot for dinner. The service was phenomenal. Loved that t his place was smaller on the inside than it appeared on the outside so the vibes were intimate. Small, focused menu of really interesting items made it easy. Raw and cooked apps. 5 or 6 small plates and only 2 large plates plus a big sharable large plate (octopus) special for up to 4 people. Good wine selection. great complimentary house-made limoncello to finish out the meal. Even an NA one for those that don't imbibe. Service was great!
