I always enjoy going to Costco. They offer higher quality products. It is nice change because my wife always wants get a Sam's club membership. I've no desire to visit it or Wal-Mart.
Yes quantities are large but savings are great if you can refrigerate or store goods. Always see something new that I Must Have. I happened to be replacing my gutter guards and WHAM, stainless steal guards better than plastic at Lowex name misspelled on purpose. Expensive but commerical grade. I plan to keep my house for 40 years, I'll be 106. Lol
Shopping at Costco is always a fun experience! Everyone is friendly and enthusiastic about their products. Taste-testing helps me try new items that I would probably otherwise overlook. Checkers are probably the best around - fast and efficient and gracious! Wow!
Today was the worst experience I have ever had at this Costco. First the check out person, Danny, man-handled an uncooked pizza and then placed it in the cart causing all the toppings to fall to one side...even the cheese slid off the pizza. Then when I got to my truck, I noticed that he did not even put my stuff in a box, everything was loose, causing me to have to make approx. 10 trips from the house to the truck to unload my stuff which should have only taken two trips if he would have put the stuff in a box like everyone... read more
The staff & products at Costco are great! That being said, I am very disappointed after scanning through the "Value Book" I received yesterday. The advertising is for a great cause ( Children's Miracle Network) but letting a puppy mill store advertise is disappointing . How about bringing attention to the SPCA or some of the many non profit animal rescues that we have here locally. Just a thought for the future.
