Visited Costco Tire Centre for a puncture inspection and repair on my EV. I was told the tire was not repairable because the new puncture was too close to a previously repaired puncture in the same area. I was also advised that, because my vehicle is EV AWD, both rear tires would need to be replaced at an estimated cost of about $600 each. I'm generally a fan of Costco overall. Even this location, while chronically busy, seems to keep well stocked and the staff do a great job. Fir some reason, the tire shop is the worst part of this store by a mile. I have now been here twice and will not be back. While the staff are friendly, that's the only positive thing I can say. They did not get my vehicle into their shop until 1.5 hours past my appointment time. What a great experience! Staff were friendly and professional. Loved how easy it was to book online & order tires. Staff communication of process was exceptional. Free tire rotations are an added bonus... can't wait to continue my journey with this team.
Up front I was early for my apt ok on me, get told when dropping off my car for seasonal tire change may not get to it before apt time (ok fair enough), I double check you have my cell number right yes repeated back to me good as I'm here. I wait 2 hours as was also told if you haven't heard anything within 2 hours come back.
