I went to costco yesterday evening hoping to avoid crowds and get some essentials. I chose costco because they enforce masks at the door. upon arrival about 30% of people unmasked after entering the store. you are a big enough corporation to hire security to enforce masks. I am very tired of being heald hostage by selfish people.
RecommendedCan’t wait to see the new location start construction!! Miss my Santa Rosa HUGE one; the gas station and definitely miss the samples! But; for what it’s worth they are friendly at this location I must say.
They questioned a person unable to wear a mask due to a medical condition. Went to become a member but will NEVER step foot in a Costco again.
Y'all, I went to Costco today. I was questioned, 2x while there, if i had a mask - to which I kindly reply, "I have a medical condition", and thank them for their help and proceed shopping. One of their employees had the audacity to ask if my children ALSO have said condition. Pretty sure that's not how it works homeboy! My buddy @ corporate let me know my rights in the store before I ever set foot back in the store. He also let me know that you aren't supposed to ask me inside the store. the redding location has repeatedly given me some of the worst customer service I have ever had. I went in with my service dog and was forced to explain in detail my condition. After returning food that had rotted more quickly than it should have, I was told that this would be a one time thing because some of it was past it's expectation date. Clean and well stocked. Joined for dog food, but had to stop using their dog food because of UC Davis report that grain free with legumes is causing heart disease. Now I shop there for Rx, eggs & rotisserie chicken, winter coats. WILL STOP MEMBERSHIP IF THEY CLOSE NORTH REDDING AND MOVE TO AIRPORT RD. Gas expense would outweigh any savings on what I buy there now that I don’t get their dog food. All other discount shipping is centrally located in the Dana/Hillside Area. not today, stood outside in the freezing rain for 30 minutes waiting to go inside, was told it's because of the 6 feet social distancing that the government is mandating, that's a lie, its a recommendation, not a mandatory rule. was told it is too protect customers and employees, standing out in the rain is not for my protection, whomever decided to do that should be standing out in the rain with us bet they'd changed that rule real quick.
