I was denied service at Cost Cutters by Mary Coomer. I had a certificate for a free haircut that I had won at the Madisonville-Hopkins County Public library silent auction. Mary said that the person who's name was on the certificate hadn't worked for Cost Cutters in over 2 years. She attempted to contact her manager, but later told me that He probably won't respond until Monday. Her reason for denying me service was she didn't know how to put it in the system. I won't be coming back.
I took my three boys (ages 4, 3, 2) in there to get their hair cut this morning and an older lady with wavy hair and glasses cut their hair. She was so unbelievably RUDE! Jerking my 4 year olds head around, getting irritated with them for the tiniest movements. My 3 year old said he was itchy and she huffed and puffed. Her tone was horrible. Stopped here to have my sons hair cut and was refused service because my 2 YEAR OLD won’t wear a mask.... regardless of where you stand on the pandemic this is unacceptable. The entire store stunk like cigarette smoke because the hair dresser was smoking out the back door and she wasn’t even wearing a mask!!! Absolutely terrible and hypocritical employee. We will never return and suggest that no one else does either
