About this business

A discovery made in 1952 by two college lads, has turned into Rapids City's popular attraction, Cosmos Mystery Area. The tour involves standing on walls, walking around tilted structures, water flowing upwards, unexplainable changes in heights and sizes and much more. If you are too perplexed regarding the occurrences on the tour, then distortion is the answer. While on a ... read more

My wife and I were out in Rapid City for our honeymoon, Having been to other mystery spots as a kid I had to make sure I brought my wife here. It was fantastic as usual. Our tour guide Abby was awesome interacting with kids as well as adults. She even sat and chatted with us for a while in the crack your own geode area. This will for sure be a repeat attraction the next time we are out west!

My husband and I checked out cosmos house yesterday and had so much fun! Our tour guide was Abby. She had a lot of energy and was a lot of fun! The house was not what I expected and I did get a little dizzy walking in but made it out just fine. The gift shop also had some cool stuff in it as well. We will definitely come back again in the future!

We played tourist with family and had a blast here! Several of the kids named Cosmos as their favorite stop of the day. Our tour guide, Abby, was humorous and informative. Thanks for the fun tour and memories made!
