A discovery made in 1952 by two college lads, has turned into Rapids City's popular attraction, Cosmos Mystery Area. As the signboard at the entrance aptly reads 'laws of nature seem to have gone completely berserk', nothing in this attraction can be perceived as normal. What a freaky fun time!! Dalton was a fun guide who really engaged us and made it even more exciting. My boys had fun cracking their geos too!!
Maybe it's because we recently visited the vortex area in whitefish Montana which was way better than this place that made it somewhat ok for me. The tour was rushed through and it's quite obvious that it's an optical illusion. If you've never been to a place like this before then you might find it pretty cool

We are first timers from Princeton IL...the cosmos was the first place we went when we got here. Jayden was awesome...she was sweet and silly and very good with my apprehensive 8yr old. We will be here till Sunday and we are already talking about going again!!!! What a cool place!! We are loving SD!
