I want to like this place but I always leave disappointed. Twice now, my dip manicures from here have chipped after less than a week, but my dip manicures from other salons never chip even after almost 3 weeks. I was really displeased with the technique the last technician I had used. He used his own fingernails to push dip etc, back and seemed annoyed when I asked about the shaping of my nails.
Dropped in for a pedicure this morning. I was 100% impressed with the care and professionalism of my technician “CHALYN” gave to my tired toes. The salon is brightly lit and tastefully decorated. My ‘Lavender Mint Pedicure’ was just what my feet and toes needed. Well done.
Ilanis did the cutest nails for me!!! 🍉 Was skeptical because of the mixed reviews I read but decided to try while husband was getting haircut across the street - and wow! I’m never going anywhere else again! Was offered wine, water, drinks at the start. Everyone of the staff was helping each other out, dancing, chatting and generally in a great mood. Women of Color and allies, stay away from this shop. I stopped going here in 2020 bc they are terrible to the Black and Hispanic customers. Today after 6 years of walking by this place daily (I live on the same block), I gave in and tried again. Nothing has changed. From a layout standpoint: this receiving lobby is small so you will be able to hear everything re who has appointments and who does not.
