Today, we called Dr Shing's Office the vet, on the corner of Madison st and 281. it seemed as thought his receptionist was trying to make decisions for our Dog not to be seen by Doctor Shing, I explained over and over that I would like to make an appointment and also speak with Doctor Shing, and they were insisting that he would not see or talk to us, they acted like they did not care about there customer at all and most of all did not care about the well being and health of our Dog who needs to be seen with differenet issue... read more
RecommendedI have brought all of my cats to Cortland Veterinary Hospital for 30 years. Dr. Martin has always been patient, thorough, understanding, encouraging + + + I have always felt my fur babies were in good hands with him. He has been there for the regular visits.... through sickness and health and a couple emergencies as well as final farewells. Dr. Brockway was also very good the few times we saw her. Everyone is wonderful at CVH! I have an 18-year-old kitty with a few problems related to aging, and with their help, she is doing quite well. She's had an issue with high blood pressure since winter, and I'm glad to report that her BP is finally normal! They monitor her closely and help me give her the care she deserves! Huge thank you to everyone at CVH!! You're the best!

5 stars. The care they have given us in the 8 years with our dog was excellent. During this past week when she was so ill, they were so compassionate and kind with our 3 sick visits. Dr. Shing was very patient and understanding. He and his staff made her last moments easier for all of us.
Dr. Shing is awesome with animals, both wildlife and my dog. Recently I brought in an opossum with abcess, and he was gentle, thorough, knowledgeable, compassionate, and provided a diagnosis, treatment plan, and medication. A week later, the opossum is dramatically improved. THANK YOU!! <3
