I've been living here for 4+ years and yeah like any other apartment there have been issues here and there but overall it's been great, especially for what I pay every month. Love that there's a pool when it's nice out, I haven't seen any other apartments in Cortland with a pool. Lots of parking and my apartment is roomy. I also like the balcony which looks over the grassy area in back.
Disgusting!!!! – The entire place is disgusting!!! This is coming from a guy who worked there for years! The neighborhood sucks, there are constantly fights, my brand new car got keyed up 3 times, slashed tires more times than i can remember! Stones and bricks being thrown in windows was a regular occurrence, peoples' cars got broken into all the time. The worst part of it all, NOBODY CARES!!! Bad Customer Service – My experience living here was OK. However, the people below us smoked so much that our linens and clothes smelled like smoke even though neither of us smoked. There were also about 5 people living in a one bedroom apartment with people coming and going all of the time. Between all of the people, there was always some sort of noise or commotion coming from their apartment. The neighborhood surrounding the apartment was horrendous. BETTER PLACES TO LIVE ON SOUTH MAIN STREET – The people were gross. Druggies living and selling out of them. Management will not do anything about it. They overcharge when you move out (Ex; $10 per window inside and out regardless of the WEATHER). Loud people. Disrespectful tenants that will come to your door and yell at you and cops and Management will not do anything about it. People use the washing machines and dryers as toilets. Dirty Irty – Everything about this dump is unacceptable. The place smells like **** and the water sometimes comes out brown.....yeah...brown! Whatever you do, don't live @ this place.
Dump – These apartments are horrible. They smell like garbage. The hallways smell like you are walking through someone's butt. The carpet was flithy dirty and it had a musty odor to it...smelled kind of like a dead animal. One time I went swimming in the complex pool...there was a brown trout floating in the deep end of it. Do not rent this place!
Dirt – Wow! This place is TRASHY! Nothing but dirtbags living in this joint. I found diareha stains in the carpet and mold in the walls. Why would anyone want to live here! I think this place is to good even for a maggot. They should call this place Maggot Park Apartments!
Acceptable apartments – The previous review by "gino6719". The poor kid should learn grammar and spelling before embarrassing himself. I have seen these apartments and they could be better, but are not bad for the money. As with any large complex you are going to have a variety of diversified neighbors.
This place is rediculas.... – Ok im gonna admit.. these are very nice apartments and a very nice place to stay... for sure! but when theres two young 19 and 20 year old kids.. who have a combine monthly income of 1600 dollars and we need a place to live we were denied... the apartment is only 560 dollars and we were still denied.. they dont give anyone any chances and its rediculas in my opinion...thats800 to 900 more a month then the apartment its self.. good luck people
