I called about an apartment I had been monitoring on the website for the past three days because I was very interested in applying. I almost overlooked this apartment complex but am so glad that I took the time to check it out. The location, amenities, assistance options, cleanliness, true dog play areas, and connection to the skyway are all highlights. My leasing agent had a cool name (Sareg) and was just overall pleasant. He listened to what was important to me and showed me how their property matched my needs. The reason that deterred me from choosing the apartment is that there’s so many added fees not covered in the rent (internet, water, or trash). Rent is already inflated and not including any utilities in the rent makes it less competitive compared to other apartments.
I lived at The Grand for a little over two years, including through the transition to Weidner, and never had a negative experience. The staff was remarkably professional and helpful right up through the end of my lease. The apartments and amenities are beautiful and very well maintained. The location is fantastic - it is connected to the skyway and everything I needed was just a short walk away.
