Cortland Eye Center was originally owned by Dr. Dean Mitchell who began the ophthalmology practice in 1982. In 1997, the building was enlarged and an Optometrist and an Optician joined the staff. We have continued to grow and most recently (2009) added another Optometrist to our staff.

Best eye doctor around. The staff members are very friendly. The doctors know what they are talking about. They take the time to really listen to any concerns you may have and conduct the appropriate tests. Then when you leave you are satisfied with your appointment. The office itself is beautiful inside,
