I love the staff they’re very professional and my son’s speech therapy Miss. Maria she is great she knows exactly how to interact with my son and he loves coming here. I give Maria a 5 star but I give Cortica a 3. The only downfall is that I was in a waitlist for so long and got multiple bills for assessments I had already been billed for. Katherine is very kind and has a lot of patience for my patient. She is slow with her process and does not try to rush her seeing that my patient is in distress being in a new environment. I have seen improvement in mood and progressing desire to participate from my patient with Katherine’s great work. Very pleased with progress so far, looking forward to more time with her :)
Beware of the Cortica’s ABA billing practices. We had ABA therapy for my son after nearly 1 year of wait time. Finally they assigned a therapist who had no clue how to do therapy. We had to withdraw from therapy last year only after few sessions . We were waiting to get in to in clinic sessions. This year in April, we received bills for around 500$. When I checked with Cortica, they said they did some assessment for insurance purposes. They did not do any face to face interview with my son nor get my inputs. If they have not... read more
Cortica Irvine has been extremely frustrating to work with! Their scheduling team is unresponsive to emails and calls, and completely inflexible with availability—even after repeated requests. As a parent of a neurodiverse child, the lack of support and communication has been incredibly disappointing. Would not recommend to anyone.
No response from Scheduling team. Just they keep on redirect the call and then goes to voice message and no one call you back.
