I brought my daughter in because I was diagnosed with moraxella catarrhalis and was told it was contagious, and I wanted to make sure my daughter received treatment if necessary. The Dr assured me that what I have is not contagious. I gave my information so that my test results could be pulled and verified if my dx was contagious. The Dr told me he looked up my results and it was not contagious, and he didn't understand why the other provider told me it was. Cortica has provided immeasurable help to our family. The staff, service providers, doctors and specialists are top notch and are highly trained in their ability to provide much needed services for children’s disabilities. I highly recommend them.
I have had an intake appointment for 2 weeks and my husband rescheduled important meetings and took the day off to be available for it. 1 week ago they called me about an insurance issue in which I called them back twice and left voicemails to resolve with no response back. Not even 24 hours before appointment I received a cancellation. After asking on our local moms group apparently already clients have been in waiting rooms 10 minutes before therapy session, only to get canceled then. Glad we dodged a bullet here obviously... read more
