Our one-year tenancy at Coronado was an absolutely terrible experience that continues now that we have moved out. The management of the building is unprofessional and unstable, with managers changing every few months. This disorganization led to serious issues, including the office losing our security deposit record six months into our lease and demanding we pay it again until we provided our original documentation. [Update Oct 2025] These units were renovated in a real hurry and it shows. Maintenance at least responds to repair requests (which sometimes just get marked as resolved without reaching out), and the new management does usually email when something is impacting residents, which is more than can be said for the previous management. That said, the elevator is out all the time, usually with no notice, and the taped signs never get taken down, so good luck if you were planning on using that. Seattle is a bike city and there's no effort to accommodate bicycles, not even a bike rack outside. Even though there are balconies and courtyards they threaten to confiscate your bicycle if you don't keep it in the apartment. The units are very small and having to put a bike in your living room is almost worth looking for a new place. They have no plans to solve this issue, they need bike storage on one of the street levels also bc there's no way to get bikes in and out beyond carrying them up and down stairs which is also ... read more
This place seriously needs maintenance. They claim it was recently remodeled, but it was clearly just a superficial job. My bathroom has mold. I requested that someone come fix it—they came to take a look, said they’d figure out what to do, and then I received an email saying the issue had been resolved, even though nothing was done. I still haven’t received a proper response. The elevator is out of service—for the second time in just two months.
