Called in to make an appointment and found out they have a monthly membership fee! What is this? A gym? If you are worried loosing patients and want to keep them this way, this means your facility doesn’t provide good services
FYI- There is an extra membership fee, on top of already paying for private insurance and copays. Up to $2000 or so for a yearly membership. Didn't know health care can charge on top of charges? Gyms and Costco? Sure, I understand but medical treatment? #greedy.
I expressed interest and was not so kindly declined. They explained that they are not taking any more patients. Maybe it would be a good idea to post that fact on their website?! Instead, the website is misleading as it clearly reads as a marketing strategy to attract more clients. Moving on.
I have been seeing Dr. Pirkle as my primary care doctor coming on 10 years now. I cannot even being to describe how amazing, supportive, caring and knowledgeable of a doctor he is. Several years ago when I was in college I was a “medical mystery”, I was at his office at least 2-3 times a month, along with countless visits to other doctors. Dr. Bernens is the best! He is extremely thorough which I greatly appreciate. I always feel comfortable when I see him because I know how much he cares about his patients. The staff at Cornerstone is amazing.
