Kristy VanLanen was very deceptive with me during our time working with her. She gave us a pre-approval letter under false pretenses and conditions she NEVER told us about. Then as we are doing the paperwork to close on the house, she hits us with "Can you advise what day you are selling your NC home? Can you also get me the contact information for the title company you are using for that transaction as we will need to get proof of the closing." Paul is hands down the only person I would trust to handle our mortgage. He always has your best interest in mind and never pressures you into anything you are not comfortable with. We have had two successful home buying experiences through cornerstone and can not thank them enough. Even though Paul was gone on vacation right before we closed - he made sure everything was in order. They are flexible, convenient, and caring. Love this place and highly recommend them.
My mother in law was originally going through a company in texas for her mortgage. We were originally suppose to close may 31. Then this company said june 8th. Our stuff was put in a storage unit and accruing costs. We were homeless come june 15th becuz landlord only let us stay till the 15th. We then were suppose to close june 29th.
