This 5 star rating is specifically for Shawn. There have been many calls between us for medication refills and most recently a global referral request. He is ALWAYS so very kind, knowledgeable and helpful. I wish I could speak to him every time I call. My children have been at this office for over 14 years and he is by far the best staff member taking calls in my experience. Hopefully they never let him go!
From the front desk staff, assistants, and doctor, they are all extremely rude and unprofessional, in my opinion. My 3-year-old is traumatized from this practice, and it was our first time. Upon check-in, I got attitude. The doctor didn’t listen to my concerns at all and totally blew everything off. All she was concerned about was shots, and that’s all this practice seems to care about—shots. I called to get a signed physician's note so my daughter could have her EpiPen with her at a weeklong day camp and her doctor REFUSED to write her a note for her EpiPen (for a tree nut allergy that has been an established medical condition for over 4 years) just because she missed her last well visit exam, EVEN THOUGH she is not overdue for any vaccines AND even though she's been seen in the office multiple times this year!!! Dr. Arens is wonderful! He has been both of my children's doctor since they were born. The staff are also super nice and helpful. I wouldn't take my children anywhere else.
