i grew up in rockford and corner bar dogs were so good, now there horrible..i was there yesterday, first time in 30 years, never again, canned chilli is horrible, so much cheese you couldnt taste anything else, maybe that was the point..ill never eat another dog from the corner bar...one of the saddest days of my life..cant even bring my kids for my favorit hot dog cause it dont exist any more...not the same hot dog, canned chilli, differant chesse and way to much, you dont even steam the bun...this is not a classic corner b... read more

Always a pleasure. This was, and will continue to be, for as long as we are able, a yearly gathering for cousins. A fixture of our childhood, the Corner Bar holds fond memories. And as always, Nothing like a Corner Bar Hotdog!
