I have lived at Cornell Arms for 4 years and it has been a great experience. I live on the top (18th) floor with a fine view over the city. Any time I have had an issue (and I have had very few -- just a minor plumbing issue on one occasion) all I have to do is send an email and I get an immediate reply, and maintenance shows up within minutes. I recommend this building to a lot of people moving to columbia. They are always on top of fixing things, the property manager is always available to talk, and the proximity to places makes the rent well worth it. The grocery store is less than 1 mile away in either direction and classes are literally across the street. They have also been upgrading older equipment over the past year instead of leaving things broken and out dated and holding onto our rent. I do not personally live here but I cosigned for my kid who is now in grad school at USC almost three years ago and I could not be happier with how things have gone or with that decision. This is not a luxury high rise but the rent is reasonable for the area and you truly cannot beat the location. Most importantly my kid is genuinely happy living here which says everything and as a parent that is what matters most. Had a great experience touring and eventually leasing here. The staff are friendly and the building is very clean. Crystal, the property manager provided excellent tours of multiple available rooms, and was very helpful when it came to providing my family and I the assurance and information we needed to confidently lease with Cornell Arms Apartments.

Love it here! The landlady, door staff, and maintenance crew are awesome. My only drawback with living here is having to pay for the parking spaces. Parking is limited, but $100/month is steep. It is a pain to share the lot with businesses as well since people will often park in my assigned spot, and unfortunately the tow is not always available. I would love if the lots got redone to be scan access only, or more obvious as Cornell Arms parking. Other than that, this building has a lot of charm and wonderful neighbors.
