RecommendedBest restaurant in Evansville. My family tries to go here for every special occasion. The food is always phenomenal, the environment is so cozy and comfortable, and the staff are ALWAYS extremely kind, polite, and helpful. I don't know but we decided to try cork n cleaver from never having been and so many good reviews, maybe it is an off night or something🤷♀️ but it was terrible. The best part was the half decent salad bar (but flavorless ranch dressing) and the bar drinks. The steak my husband got was completely tasteless. He had to use steak sauce, which is like a sin on a good steak, and a salt packet to get any flavor with it. We went to Cork ‘n Cleaver to Celebrate my 10 Anniversary Survival of a Brain Aneurysm. I highly recommend their BLACKENED SALMON and my son had PRIME RIB
SERVER STOLE FROM ME!!. Bill was 82.73. I left a $10 tip even though the service was horrible. Checked my bank account and the server took out a $20 tip!!!! Called and they said they can't do anything about it. Was told Steve the owner would call me and its been a week and I haven't heard anything. First time there for a birthday dinner.
