First time there, will not be my last, did all appetizers and they were all amazing. NYC quality food ( sorry but I'm from New York and am mostly disappointed when I go out to eat im Wilkes Barre). Had the flat bread with fig and prosciutto, the cork salad, meatballs and the shrimp in white wine and cheese sauce. meatballs and shrimp came with delicious toast points. Service was excellent, not one negitive, cant wait to go back. Found them through the Little Theater website.
Enjoyed a nice dinner under the tents. Staff was polite and attentive; menu choices were more than adequate, and the meal itself was well prepared and tasty!
Good food & good service. I would strongly recommend.
We cannot say enough about Cork Bar and Restaurant. Carolyn and wait staff were amazing. We were having my son’s wedding rehearsal dinner at Wyoming Valley Country Club this past Friday night, when there was a water main break and the club was told at 3pm that they wouldn’t have water until possibly 6 or 7pm. Ordered ribeye medium rare and got a piece of meat that was super well done with quite a bit of gristle. Husband got a pork chop that was so dry he couldn't even eat it. Mashed potatoes tasteless and cold. Service extremely slow.
This evening my wife and another couple chose to dine at Cork in WB. We made reservations on Sunday for today! We decided on outdoor seating as today was going to be nice. Greeted by a very nice hostess who showed us to our patio area seating! The chairs were very comfortable. She provided us with menus and drink list! We went to Cork with our new puppy last night. Everyone, from the hostess Payton to our server Debbie, was extremely friendly and welcoming. My girlfriend loves the Cork salad and I ordered the short ribs over gorgonzola risotto. My dish was definitely one of the BEST meals I have ever had at a restaurant, anywhere in the world. If you like short ribs, you need to give it a try. Keep up the good work and we will be back soon!!
