Recently, I had some plumbing done by Core Plumbing. While the work appears to have been done correctly and well, the price they charged was outrageous. For example, the charge for replacing an outdoor faucet on the side of our house came to $588. That work took no more than 15 minutes and the faucet part that was used can be purchased for $40 at Walmart (no doubt for much less by the company which buys such items in bulk.
