Unfortunately, we had a negative experience at the Myrtle Beach office of Venning. We can not give them more than one star.
I strongly do not recommend these services. They did not provide honest services, charged for services not completed and every CPA left the agency we went through due to lack of support. They refused to assist us when we found out our tax return payment had not been submitted. I would give it a zero if possible. Buyer Beware!!!!
I would give them zero stars if that was an option. My prior tax person who I loved made the poor choice to send her clients here when she retired. They never replied to my emails - except for an office manager who works for the old place. They never called me to discuss my tax return - I'm self-employed and they're not familiar with anything related to my work but just completed my return and sent it back to me after I kept reaching out over and over to see why I hadn't gotten it- I got it just prior to April 15th. Just like most comments below, my consultant was taken over by this company. My paperwork was sent in February. Its now May and they are not even started. There's no date of completion and my sense of urgency falls on deaf ears. When I call, if they answer, I ask who's in charge and what do I have to do and they dont know. There's no answer. No supervisor ever no account no date. Just it will eventually get done. I am truly scared.
I had an extremely frustrating experience with this tax preparation service and would strongly advise others to be cautious. From the start, communication was inconsistent, and it quickly became clear that their team was not communicating effectively with each other.
