I used to love living at the Cora. Coming from NYC where landlords were snakes and greedy and never cared about the problems their tenants were having, Cora was a breath of fresh air. The onsite manager and maintenance crew addressed issues in a timely manner and really went above and beyond with things like leaving baked pastries in the lobby for residents to have multiple times a week to delivering people’s packages to their apartment doors instead of us having to collect them from the mailroom downstairs. It used to be a great place to live in. I have been here 4 years and can confidently say that I have exchanged more than a few words with most of my neighbors, which is extremely rare in Seattle. Sadly, it has been going downhill since Thrive took it over a few years ago. Cleanliness was the first thing to decline. It has spiked again in recent weeks, and I hope it stays that way, but there’s no guarantee. Seeing anyone on the reception desk is a rarity and emails often fall through the cracks. The staff are super sweet and deal with each individual tenant as individual humans. That is rare in this day and age

Zero stars. Do not move here. As a six year resident, I likely know better than most tenants who have lived at Cora and I hope you'll consider my advice. In my previous review, I recommended this building. Well, it's been over two years since I posted that, and I 100% rescind that recommendation. We have since moved out of Cora—what was a below average experience has turned into a nightmare.
