My husband and I are impressed with the food, starting from the fresh warm bread. We ordered the crawfish bisque, crab from the apetiser menu; beef and snapper from the large plates menu, and a ice cream trio from the dessert menu. All were excellent with the appropriate seasoning and done-ness. The only one which we were disappointed was the bisque which was overly sour. Great job by our server, Taylor who was able to explain how the dishes were done. Thank you for a great dinner in our lovely trip in New Orleans:)

According to my records this the 15th time we have dined at Coquette. It is consistently the best restaurant in New Orleans in my opinion. The menu changes almost daily in keeping with the farm to table philosophy. I always order duck if it is on the menu because Chef Stoltzfus always nails it. Today was aged duck with fresh blackberries. The blackberries combined with duck just exploded with taste. That is his signature style and at his best the flavors just pop. And the desserts are to die for.

Business response:

Jim, thank you so much for being such a kind and long standing diner. We appreciate your patronage very, very much. Much love, coquette

Lovely setting. We were seated quickly and had the fried chicken brunch between the 3 of us. The chicken, the greens, the biscuits, the everything was wonderful. The only little criticism is the bartender would not look up at us during our waiting to be seated time. The other staff were so friendly and accommodating.
