Our experience with Copper Hills Youth Center was better than I expected. Our daughter really benefited from her time there and learned better coping skills, more about herself and what helps her. The communication between education, nursing and therapy were all wonderful. The activities and events planning always has great plans for the kids. Our daughter got to enjoy so many outings and things at her time in Utah.Â
Isaac took care of two of our children while they were at Copper Hills for treatment for some severe issues. He is a phenomenal counselor and mentor. He truly cares about each other child and their future. I canât imagine a better place or outcome for our children!Â
My 16 year old son just returned home from Copper Hills Youth Center after a 15 month stay. I'm giving the 5 stars for the following people: First of all, Jessica at the front desk is 100% amazing. If you need anything done, talk to her first, she genuinely cares about the kids and their families. Next, my son's therapist, Isaac Brown, was the best therapist my son has ever had, and there have been several! There are only a handful of good staff that want to make a change in these kids lives. The staff to resident ratio is 1:5 I was constantly single staffed with 13-15 kids every shift. This makes it very unfair to the kids to work their program because itâs unsafe and takes away opportunityâs for them. When brought up to HR and managers, the manager didnât respond or care to figure out a solution for the benefit of the kids.
