Step back in time as you enter. Copper Creek Restaurant has been open since 1946 offering homestyle cooking including our world famous blackberry pie. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is served everyday during the summer. Unique cabins are scattered throughout the 11 acre property that is intersected by Copper Creek. As beautiful as this place may be, it's not very clean and it has rats!! We stayed at this beautiful rustic lodge for 2 nights right before Christmas. The first night seemed to be fine, but when we came back after being out the next day, I found rat droppings in the downstairs bathroom and in the upstairs loft....a LOT of it!! It was on the beds upstairs as well as all over the floor! We called the owner and all she had to say for herself was "It's something that happens!" Really? Best pie I have ever tasted! I heard from others/saw FB posts about this infamous pie. We drive by almost everytime we visit Rainier and thought we needed to stop by yesterday. Pretty impressed.
