As beautiful as this place may be, it's not very clean and it has rats!! We stayed at this beautiful rustic lodge for 2 nights right before Christmas. The first night seemed to be fine, but when we came back after being out the next day, I found rat droppings in the downstairs bathroom and in the upstairs loft....a LOT of it!! It was on the beds upstairs as well as all over the floor! We called the owner and all she had to say for herself was "It's something that happens!" Really?
