I'm sorry you feel this way. We ran into issues on other vehicles the day you dropped it off. It was our fault we didn't look at it the day you dropped it off. Our fault. We started working on it the next morning. You had 3 multiple electrical issues. Plus you had 5 different codes in ecm that needed to be diagnosed. We charged you 2.5 hours to do that. So finding a mechanic that you can trust is one of the hardest things to do! I felt that at Cope's I had found just that kind of mechanic. I now feel Cope's is more for making money and not about taking care of his customers. There is a lot of background that I won't bore people with but when you make an appointment with a business and that business fails to take care of you during that appointment and doesn't inform you it breaks the trust. I'm truly sorry you feel that way and didn't have a better experience as we would've preferred. But, I would advise you to also discuss the initial problem with the place that changed your oil and did not put your air filter box back together properly. You cannot put all the blame for your displeasure on Cope's Auto Repair regarding this. Also, any other shop would have simply sold you a mass air flow sensor costing you around $250 just for the part itself plus tax and labor. Matt is amazing! He fixed our Prius and Rav 4. Our Prius was a big job to do and he not only cranked it out but he didn’t charge us an arm and a leg to fix it. Our Rav 4 needed some work also as it was deemed dangerous to drive. Dropped it off and picked it up next day ready to go and now it is like driving a completely different car in a good way as it is now safe to drive! Highly recommend Matt and Nancy at Cope’s, they will take care of you like family!
Took my Nitro in for a new alternator. Cope's worked with my Route 66 warranty and got the job done in a couple hours. The Nitro is starting without screaming at me and the idle is now smooth. Yay!!! Thanks again Cope's!!!
