Heres a tip for Coops-get a new bartender with a personality. I live near Coops and I wont go there again. Went in for the first time and when I walked in I immediately felt uninvited. The older lady w/ dyed red hair behind the bar looked at me like WTH are you doing here? No smile, hello, how are you, welcome, just "what can I get you?" It remained that way the entire time while I observed her chatting up and laughting with the old guys at the bar. When she came down to my end of the bar her face went back to sour. Nice Place...Nice People – I, along with 3 friends from Baltimore, went to Indy for a Ravens-Colts game. We found Coops by accident. The people could not have been nicer to 4 strangers. The food was very good....especially the pizza. Our bartender was a sweetheart with a great sense of humor. If I ever have the unpleasant task of going back to Indy, I suspect the only bright spot will be going back to Coops.
