great food, no tables available but was offered an immediate seat at the bar!
I just found a new place to have lunch or dinner. Cooper's on 5th in Valley Junction. The food was delicious and friendly staff. Get there early because the place fills up quickly. Prices are so reasonable
We love Coopers. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great bartender. Great food!!
From the ambiance when you walk in the door, to the incredible drinks served from the bar, Coopers will now be in our regular rotation. The spinach artichoke dip was the best we’ve ever had. Both entrees were exceptional. The service was second to none. The only summer is that we didn’t discover this place in the last five years of living in Des Moines but we are blessed we finally did. We will be back very soon!!

We ate here for the first time tonight. We will definitely be back. I had the short ribs. They were so tender and flavorful. As we were leaving a young couple was standing outside trying to decide if they should give Cooper's a try, as they had never eaten there. We talked with them and recommended they give Cooper's a try. I hope they were as happy with their food as we were. Plus the staff is very friendly.
