I have been to Cooper's Hawk on many, many occasions, all of which were very enjoyable. The last time I ordered a cup of the Seafood Bisque to begin. It was delicious.....except for the piece of plastic I found in it. It was my first spoonful so I stopped eating and notified the waitress who apologized and took the bisque and my bread plate which had the plastic on it. While waiting for my replacement soup, a manager came over and said that she wanted to reassure me that it was a "hard piece of onion skin" and not plastic. I... read more
This is my favorite restaurant! We live in Kankakee, so we try to get there every few months! We went yesterday. The staff, especially our waitress, was amazing! I wish i would have written her name down! food, wine, and atmosphere!!!!

Eat, drink and shop all in one place! Never disappointed with the menu and delivery of great food. Wine tasting and novelty wine related purchases in the gift shop.
I had an excellent experience there for dinner tonight! My server, Mandi M, was kind and very attentive, and the food and wine were delicious! Next time I'm in the area, I'll definitely return. :) I had the Calamari, Surf & Turf with Parmesan Crusted Filet, and the Broccoli was amazing!!!
