Cooper University Hospital is a sanctuary of healing, expertise, professional excellence, and exemplary patient-centered and family-centered LOVE. It's design, amenities, and cleanliness are wonderful. The horror of my younger brother being admitted with frightening leukemia quickly was replaced by confidence and comfort once we were inside Cooper's soothing campus. The staff was nice and friendly but when my mother went to her room, there was no call button...the nurse was supposed to find one. During the night my mom was having difficulty breathing and was yelling and yelling for help because she had no way of calling the nurse. This caused her to panic of course and her oxygen levels fell causing her to be put on a bipap machine and brought to an intermediate care floor. She also had some heart issues from the episode. The entire thing could have been prevented.

We received wonderful care at the Children's Hospital this week when my daughter was admitted through the ER. Doctors, nurses, all the staff including the med student who 'drove' our case, all were caring and efficient, focused on the best outcome for us. We feel like they gave us some answers!
I had an amazing experience there. (Although they though I was lying to them about drug use until my tests came back ). However. I was treated with respect and I hope other hospitals in the state take their example.
Went for my post op examination to Cooper at Voorhees yesterday and again in the tradition outstanding service from the administrative workers to the medical staff. My experience during my surgery is beyond words the professionalism from every Cooper employee from the nursing staff, technical staff and the food service staff was an experience I will forever cherish. The professionalism and the kindness combined shows why you are the best in everything you do.
Unless ur dying this place is horrible. Go anywhere else
