The renovation of our home with Coolibah Building and Design was a rewarding, collaborative experience. We highly recommend this dynamic team! Our renovation involved opening up the kitchen/living/dining areas, new bathroom, ensuite and laundry, rebuilding stairs and landing at front entrance and a small extension to the deck area, including new railing. The project was finished 7 months into an estimated 3 month program. Quality of work appears to be fine but communication and transparency was diabolical. 1/2 the tasks we needed to do were specifically excluded from the quote and other tasks did not make the scope. Obtaining invoices and copies of quotes from contractors was mostly impossible. There was no competitive quoting on work to be carried out even though we agreed to pay a 20% on cost for co-ordinating trades and providing materials which is well above the industry... read more
