Total disorganization. Hospitalist did NOT know type of surgery recommended for femur fracture, what surgeon was going to do surgery and when it was going to be done. Nurses lost signed documents on health care proxy and rehab facility preference of patient. Information on when discharge would occur was NOT relayed until morning of discharge. Like chickens with their heads cut off.
Being given no pain management after a 6 hours waiting room wait... unacceptable! Another hour after brought back... unacceptable. Pain managed inappropriately until an hour before discharged... UNACCEPTABLE! The worst was being given a pregnancy test and ultrasound of ovaries.. WHEN YOU HAVE HAD A COMPLETE HYSTERECTOMY 6 years prior and it is documented well in your Cooley Medical records! They did not take me serious and were not proactive to treat my pain as they clearly couldn't do anything else for me or my pregnancy (s... read more
