Thumbs DOWN!!! Haha! Some of these reviews MUST be personal suck ups to the owner cuz it all sounds like BS to me!! A couple of the girls that work there are nice but the owner is rude and unprofessional. The store is a MESS! This is the BEST scrapbook store! I just did my first rating and I saw that Cool got a low rating back in March. I just have to TOTALLY disagree! The staff is SO friendly and helpful!!! I just don't even "agree" that the last statement was unfriendly at all!
It was a chore for them to take my money. When I asked about a specific brand of paper the gal at the counter pointed to a rack and said "If we have it, it'll be over there." This is the kind NOT the kind of response I expected from a small business that should know its stock. When I went to check out, another woman rang up my purchases. everything you need This store is jam packed with scrap supplies and up to date with the latest trends. Although small, you even get a frequent shopper discount and a discount for not using a bag- I appreciate any discount.
I don't NEED to go anywhere else. I had to add my two cents since I have had such a great experience at CSS. It is rare these days to find a scrapbook store that can not only stay up with the trends but also keep the basics in stock. Fabulous selection, NEW stuff all the time, and fabulous staff! I don't usually post reviews, but I had to speak up on behalf of Cool Scrapbook Stuff. I have no idea why anyone would EVER want to trash talk them! I have been going to CSS since they opened their first location (three stores back!), and they seem to get better every year. They have the best selection and the best prices in town, and trust me, I've checked!
My FAVORITE place to shop!! I'm shocked by the negative review for this store. I have been a customer of Cool Scrapbook Stuff for many years and I have always had a wonderful experience shopping there! This store has an extensive inventory of scrapbooking/stamping supplies. Bad Customer Service topped off with a dirty cluttered store! This store is very dirty and cluttered. I have often times seen cats running around in the store and the restrooms were about as clean as one at a truck stop. The owner is rude and does not appreciate her customers. You'd think she would value her hardoworking employees and her customers who spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars in her store - but the opposite is true. Make the drive to Pink Pineapple or Everafters and forget about cool scapbook stuff.
RUDE SERVICE! While this store has a good selection and decent prices, the service is horrible! I think it's the owner ...didn't get her name, is very snooty. It's as if she thinks everyone is there to rip her off instead of give her their hard earned cash! Instead of welcoming you into her store she says, "I'LL HOLD YOUR BAG UP HERE WHILE YOU SHOP!"
