Our waitress Claudia made our date night extremely wonderful, she was very accommodating, attentive, sweet and gave us some good laughs. We love eating here when we can, but she definitely provided us with some of the best service we have received in Elko for a long time. I highly recommend, eating at Cook's for their service, great atmosphere and food!
UPDATE: We have stopped here for dinner over the years when passing through or staying in Elko. Our last visit in August 2026 was not the greatest. We arrived just after 5pm on a Friday evening and expected there to be a long wait for dinner but we were the only ones there, which was a little concerning. The drink menu was very limited and the drink I received was past the "best buy" date. Our server was nice but didn't seem familiar or confident in her knowledge of the menu. Service was great and the food was delicious.
The food was a surprise. I wanted the ribs, but had the halibut. The grilled lemons were a nice touch. Not swimming in sauce and not too much pasta, which was al dente. The vegetables were asparagus, and I could eat them with my fingers. Homemade crème brûlée. I had a cocktail and wine, so you can eat cheaper.
