We have loved Cooks American Grill since early 2000's at least! Delicious food. ESPECIALLY the $9.49 meatloaf dinners & $6.75 meatloaf sandwiches (our favorite )... the $9.99 kids meal chicken strip car is so cute too! They also get their meats next door from Lenard meets (so it's semi-local), & so not from Walmart, sysco, PFG, or US Foods. They also bread the chicken in house! That's a HUGE win in my book!

If you are looking for a classic American fare and diner; this is the place. Food is fresh and delicious. The burgers are exactly perfect, the chicken fried steak was delicious. Several great desserts to choose from. The real jewels of the show are the amazing staff and servers. Kind, happy and ready to answer any questions you may have. They were delightful!
The best burger is Topeka, hands down. Simple unpretentious little spot with outstanding food
