I was left very disappointed. The cookies aren't edible. The decoration is very amateur. For almost $100 I was expecting something much more impressive. My cookie basket didn't resemble any of the display baskets. I can't recommend Cookies by Design. I can't see anyone spending this amount of money for such poor quality. Also, the customer service is very poor. My cookies weren't ready at the time promised. I wasn't called. My business got a new contract and someone suggested we buy a cookie baskets for several of those people involved in giving our business their business. We discussed the idea and thought it was unique and different. We bought seven cookie bouquets at over $100 per bouquet. Of course we were dutifully thanked after the cookie baskets were delivered, but we later learned that the cookie baskets were displayed in their office for a week or so and then were discarded. I bought my girlfriend living in Bellevue, WA a basket of cookies for Valentines Day. I was shocked that just a few cookies in a basket would cost so much, but decided to go for it. The cookies were late. They weren't ready at the time promised. The frosting on the cookies was smeared, so it looked like an amateur or even a child did it. I could tell my girlfriend was not as impressed as I had hoped. It gets worse. The cookies just didn't taste like cookies. Next Valentine's Day I'm sticking with roses.
This is a great alternative to flowers. Gives the suprise of a bouquet but you can eat it too!
I tried to find something that would be very special for my nephew who is at Children's Hospital. I thought that a bouquet of very special cookies would be very different and surprise him. I couldn't be more disappointed.....the artwork on the cookies was very amateur. The cookies did not look at all like the cookie bouquets on display. Cookies taste awful. Gourmet cookies taste like they were made from a mix. Cookies were not fresh and tasted stale. Very overpriced. I've gone to Cookies in Bloom in Bellevue and the quality and value is superior to Cookies by Design. Also, the staff at Cookies by Design are rude and unprofessional. The female clerk who waited on me seemed too busy talking on the phone than wanting to provide any level of customer service.
