About this business

If you feel like going out for a hearty meal with the family, this is the place to pick. Though Cook St. Paul offers mostly an all-American diner grub, experimental Korean dishes are also available here. You can try out delicious breakfast dishes like cinnamon rolls, french toast and omelettes or come in for a lunch of dishes like burgers and sandwiches. More experimental eaters can try out Korean delicacies like Mac and Chi, which is an American take on the Korean kimchi, or the Bi Bim Bop.

I don't have a photo, but Cook had a breakfast special on Sunday morning with pulled pork in a wonderful Koreanesque bbq sauce served over grits with poached eggs and I just finished my leftovers with a little bit of Korean pancake. It was divine. Thank you for the wonderful food! I also had the Skip's choice on another occasion. Also great! Delicious coffee in very comfortable preheated mugs. I am so happy to have moved down the street!

We come here on a pretty regular basis, never disappointed. My favorite is the short ribs benedict, my son LOVES the biscuits and gravy, the best ever. First time trying the bread pudding french toast with caramel sauce, unbelievable!

The food was good except for the portion. The steaks could have been a little bigger n less hash brown. The waitress was awesome.

We just love going to Cook every Tuesday morning for pancakes or their nacho breakfast, I mean it is sooooo soooooo delicious . And Candy, our favorite waitress, is so kind and so funny. Thanks for opening a small family owned restaurant, Eddie Wu, to give the Eastside that old Serlins nuance. We love your lunches, too:)

Cook STP is one of our favorite spots to eat! They are usually only open for breakfast and lunch, but they do have pop up dinners from time to time. Now, let me rave about the food, everything I've ever had at this place is awesome! Short ribs eggs Benedict, breakfast nachos, even the steak and eggs (Skip's choice) are all wonderful. My favorite is the biscuits and gravy, which are only on special and usually on the weekend, so if you can try those, they are to DIE for!! The staff is always friendly and the coffee is good to... read more
