About this business

If you feel like going out for a hearty meal with the family, this is the place to pick. Though Cook St. Paul offers mostly an all-American diner grub, experimental Korean dishes are also available here. You can try out delicious breakfast dishes like cinnamon rolls, french toast and omelettes or come in for a lunch of dishes like burgers and sandwiches. More experimental eaters can try out Korean delicacies like Mac and Chi, which is an American take on the Korean kimchi, or the Bi Bim Bop.

Small crew dedicated to bringing us unique Korea/American fusion. Most recntly very cold day started with cup of classic tomato soup, rich full bodied and hit the spot. Next the short rib sandwich and fresh hand cut fries! Hit the spot. Staff is great, no rush for me to leave even though well past two o'clock closing. My go to place when I am on the East side.

Cook St. Paul is a godsend. Not only is their food incredible, but they're doing amazing things for Payne Ave. I often find myself craving the Korean Pancakes. My girlfriend is gluten-free, and the menu has many options for her. She loves being able to have options. Eddie (the owner) is a renowned chef for good reason. He's making amazing food and doing it on an up-and-coming Eastside street -- doing amazing things for the area.

Sometimes they combine in ways that are nothing short of awesome: breakfast nachos with "Koritos" and eggs, Korea Espanola (the Spanish dish of potatoes and eggs, plus kimchi), a cinnamon roll with curry and dates, a pea... read more
